After graduating from Galatasaray High School, Yalım Turan pursued further education at Sorbonne Law School. He obtained an L.L.B. degree in European Law and International Law, along with a Master's degree in International Commercial Law from Sorbonne Law School. Subsequently, he obtained a Turkish Law Equivalency Diploma from Dokuz Eylül University. He is fluent in native French and proficient in advanced English.
Following his graduate education, Yalım Turan primarily worked abroad, specializing in international commercial law and contract law. Upon his return to Turkey, he was appointed as the legal counsel for Özgün İnşaat Ticaret ve Taahhüt, a company under KRK Holding. In this role, he managed several infrastructure and investment projects in Algeria, spanning various stages over a period of 3 years. In 2015, upon his relocation to Özgün İnşaat Ticaret ve Taahhüt's headquarters, he was promoted to International Director of Legal Affairs, assuming responsibility for all international projects.
Starting from November 2016, Yalım Turan established and operates his own law firm. He continues to provide services to both domestic and foreign clients, including individual investors, reputable companies, and governmental institutions, assisting them with their investments and various legal processes.
Yalım Turan actively participated as a lawyer and legal affairs coordinator in 14 international infrastructure and superstructure projects across 4 countries and 3 continents.
Currently, Yalım Turan offers his expertise in investment-related matters and diverse legal processes in Turkey, France, Switzerland, Algeria, and Morocco.
